Writing-Enriched Curriculum Program

When they engage the Writing-Enriched Curriculum process, faculty members within academic units develop, implement, and assess Undergraduate Writing Plans specific to their disciplines and to features of their undergraduate curricula. The plans incorporate faculty-articulated and unit-relevant writing expectations, curricular integration of writing instruction, writing assessment, and instructional support.

Teaching with Writing Program

Teaching with Writing offers timely and relevant teaching consultations, and an annual series of workshops and discussions, seminars, and hunkers to all faculty members and instructors from across the campus. The program also offers online resources for integrating writing—defined broadly to include textual, numeric and figurative communication—into the full spectrum of University of Minnesota courses.
