Over the last few years, you’ve undoubtedly developed one (or a dozen) AI policies for your courses. But have you included students in the process? Involving students in creating community agreements around AI increases engagement and supports accountability. The workshop will provide context on plagiarism and AI, then provide ample time to plan how you’ll engage students in your courses in conversations about AI policy.

Guest Facilitator Bio: Jordan Canzonetta is Associate Professor in the English Studies Department at Lewis University, where she researches generative AI and plagiarism in the writing classroom. She has developed multiple asynchronous writing courses and teaches courses in technical, professional, research, and exploratory writing. Dr. Canzonetta earned her Ph.D. in Composition and Cultural Rhetoric from Syracuse University.
