How can I support students during the writing process?

Designing and grading writing assignments can be time-intensive activities that require advanced planning and careful scheduling. Equally important and challenging, due to the scarcity of time, is the period when students are working on writing assignments, especially toward the end of the semester. This TWW Blog post, Work in Progress: Supporting Students through the Writing Process, offers five suggestions for how faculty, graduate instructors, and teaching assistants can use time efficiently and effectively at critical junctures to support student writers on core assignments.
