What are good routines that support teaching with writing at the end of the semester?
Students and instructors benefit from well-established routines that generate productive writing, feedback, and interaction. These routines are especially useful toward the end of the semester when deadlines loom and anxiety increases. This TWW Blog post, Potent Protocols: Guiding Students and Instructors through the Final Weeks of the Semester, provides three examples of protocols that can be adapted to fit many teaching and learning contexts.
If you would like to consult with a member of the WAC Team about ways to develop and use protocols in your classes, please schedule a consultation.
